Flor de Mayo
Flor de Mayo is a love letter to Colombia —the world’s richest orchid homeland, with ~4,270 species flourishing across the Andean gradients. The collection draws on the orchid’s paradoxes: fierce yet delicate forms, saturated colors, and uncanny petal patterns that read like animal prints. At its core is a living metaphor—orchid seeds are dust-fine and only awaken through symbiosis with specific fungi—turning the line into a study of interdependence: maker with material, body with garment, community with landscape. Prints translate the wild diversity and uncanny beauty of Colombia’s orchids.
