Andes

The Andes Collection is inspired by Alexander von Humboldt’s insight that everything in nature is connected. From the smallest organism to entire ecosystems, each part influences the other. We reference his climb of Chimborazo and the climate zones he mapped—translating those pisos térmicos into colour, texture, and pattern.

Páramo (≈3,000–4,500 m)

High-altitude moorlands of mist and intense sunlight. Frailejones, mosses, and cushion plants store water and shape a resilient, minimal ecology. Our textiles echo the matte, velvety surfaces and muted gold-green palette of this fragile biome.

Frío (≈2,000–3,000 m)

Cloud forests with orchids, bromeliads, and tree ferns. Cool air and filtered light create layered canopies and soft contrasts. We translate this into airy weaves, diffuse textures, and tonal gradations.

Templado (≈1,000–2,000 m)

Mild valleys of cacao, coffee, and guava. Diversity thrives here—balanced, abundant, and rhythmic. Patterns emphasise ordered repetition and gentle warmth, with medium-weight structures for everyday wear.

Cálido (0–1,000 m)

Tropical lowlands and coasts: mangroves, ceibas, vibrant birds and insects. Saturated colour, fluid forms, and bold scale inform pieces designed for movement and light.
